Reference electrodes

Reference electrodes for use in various kinds of electrochemical measurements using potentiostat. They are characterized by a constant potential, which does not change with the change of ions concentration in solution and are used as a reference for measuring potentials of other electrodes. We offer silver chloride, calomel, hydrogen electrodes for both aqueous and non-aqueous (organic) media. In our offer there are also accessories for storage and regeneration of such electrodes.

Ag/AgCl Ink

Reference electrodes can be easily prepared by coating Ag/AgCl ink on the metal (Ag, Pt, Au, etc.) surface. The only thing you are required to do is just to deposit the Ag/AgCl ink and wait for dry. The reference electrode prepared by Ag/AgCl ink is quite useful for IDA electrode, micro CV cell measurements and so on.

Prservative vial for reference electrode

When it is not in use, the recommended way to maintain the reference electrode capability and lifetime, is to keep it in a sealed preservative vial with a solution. This storage solution should be identical to the filling solution of the reference electrode. For 6 mm OD electrodes, A-012108 vial will be the best choice.
